James T. Lefebvre, DC
Dr. James T. Lefebvre has cared for patients in Waterford and the surrounding Capital Region for nearly four decades. A lifelong Waterford resident and 1988 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, he founded Lefebvre Chiropractic in 1989 with a practical approach to helping patients move more comfortably and get back to daily life.
Over the years, Dr. Lefebvre has developed a particular focus on low-force chiropractic care, including the Activator Method. He is Advanced Proficiency Rated in the Low-Force Activator Method and has spent more than 20 years teaching Activator Methods continuing education seminars in the Northeast. His care is shaped by the patient's history, exam findings, comfort level, and goals, with treatment recommendations explained clearly before care begins.

Advanced Proficiency reflects a higher level of Activator Method training beyond the foundational technique. Dr. Lefebvre has taught Activator Methods continuing education in the Northeast and brings that low-force experience into patient care.

At Lefebvre Chiropractic, prevention is part of the philosophy of care. Dr. Lefebvre believes patients do best when they are proactive about how they move, recover, and maintain spinal function, instead of waiting for pain to become the only guide.
Chiropractic care looks closely at the relationship between the spinal column, the nervous system, and the rest of the body. The nervous system acts as the body's communication network, carrying information between the brain and the body through the spine.
Dr. Lefebvre's goal is to help restore, maintain, and support healthy function in the back and neck so patients can move more comfortably, pursue better balance, and work toward a higher quality of life.
